COMBI BOILER, WATER HEATER, INSTANTANEOUS WATER
HEATER AND GAS HEATER THAT CAN CUT THE COLD WATER FLOW

The system capable of cutting cold water flow is a product designed for economy in water and power in combi boilers, water heaters, instantaneous water heaters and gas heaters in any model and design.

The existing hot water generating machines heat the water up through several processes and present it to use. Water entering the device by opening the hot water tap is presented to the user after heated up to a certain temperature through certain phases. During this process, several safety systems have been developed to prevent overheating of water and to prevent problems arising from electricity, waste or unburned gas in cases of problems under- or over-pressurizing of water. In addition, yield of the combi heaters have increased even more with the systems that recycle the water vapor generated through burning.

Operation of the hot water machine that can cut the cold water flow is similar to the operation of other combi heaters, water heaters, instantaneous water heaters, and gas heaters; however, as different from those, it has the feature of cutting the cold water flow coming from the combi heater, water heater, instantaneous water heater and gas heater in cases where there is no ignition, or where there is power or gas failure. Mostly, the hot water tap is opened and hot water is waited for without considering anything. If there are no problems related to power, gas or device the hot water will start to run within a certain period and the need will be met; however, this is not the case at all times. Sometimes, the tap is turned on and the hot water is waited for; after running liters of water it is understood that there is a problem with the combi heater or the water heater and only then the tap is turned off. However, in devices with cold water control, cold water flow is cut instantaneously in any problem preventing the running of hot water, and waste of cold water by the user is thus prevented. Likewise, in any case that heat is not generated, power of the motor pumping water to the central heating is also cut together with the water flow to the kitchen or bathroom, and waste of power is thus prevented. 
The system consists of the electric sensor (13) ensuring the water flow in case of power or gas failure, gas sensor (5), the sensor measuring the temperature of the ignition chamber (12), the water pressure sensor ensuring the cut-in of the system according to pressure values (16),  on-off button (8), (Mode button) (8),  the electronic control card (7) assessing all the data and ensuring opening or closing of the water valve (11) and the audible warning apparatus (20).
The machine that can cut the cold water flow cuts in with the opening of the hot water tap. Electronic control card (7) instantaneously senses the reduced water pressure through a sensor (16) and starts to process the data from the gas, electric and heat sensors (5,12,13). In case no signals are received from the gas, electric or heat sensors (5,12,13) requiring the closing of the water valve (11) within a certain period the combi heater continues with operation and the hot water need of the user is met. If the combi heater (Figure 1), water heater (Figure 2), instantaneous water heater (Figure 3) or gas heater (Figure 4) cannot receive power or gas when the hot water tap is turned on, sensors (5,12,13) will transmit the this condition to the electronic control card (7), and the water flow and power to the water pump is cut off through a command given to the valve (11) within a certain period. Since water flow is closed under a certain degree, water flow stops after a certain period following the stopping of gas; however, in case of power failure, water flow stops instantaneously or after a certain period.
The system is capable of warning the user without cutting off the water flow in any possible failure. Together with the mode of the machine to cut the cold water flow, the control button (8) (Mode button (8) that also includes the audible signal mode can warn user about the interruption of hot water through the audible signal apparatus (20) by the command of the electronic control card (7) that processes the data coming from the sensors (5,12,13) without cutting the water flow. The user can use the hot water machine through the control button (8) in normal mode, the mode that cuts the system off, the economic mode, the mode that that can cut the water flow, and the mode that warns the user that the cold water is flowing without cutting the water flow.
It is possible to close and open the water valve (11) in the hot water machine that can cut the cold water flow depending on the heat sensor (12). In case the ignition chamber, boiler or resistance (21) fail to reach a certain temperature when the tap is turned on, the heat sensor (12) notifies this to the electronic control card (7) and the water flow is interrupted with a signal sent to the valve.
The system that can cut the cold water flow developed with the purpose of ensuring economy in water and power can be installed in all the combi heaters, water heaters, instantaneous water heaters and gas heaters in any model and design and is very important in preventing the energy waste made through the water wasted pump inadvertently and idle operation of the pump.
