TOILET SEAT WITH SLIDING SPRING AND SEAT FIXING MECHANISM

Toilet seat with sliding spring and seat fixing mechanism is a product developed to fix toilet seat and covers with spring to the toilet and to allow them to move up and down from their connection points during springback.

Toilet seats and seat fixation apparatus with different designs and functions have been developed. In most of these designs basically hinges are used and these parts provide cover and seat to be fixed to the toilet and to be opened and closed. Besides protruding circular plastic parts  which are fixed to cover and seat and housings performing opening and closing function by being inserted in these parts have also been developed. The purpose of all of these mechanisms are only to allow seat and cover to be opened and closed and they do not have any function to allow seat and cover to move up and down at the points where they are fixed at toilet.

Toilet seat with sliding spring and seat fixing mechanism (1) has a different mechanism from other toilet seat and cover fixation apparatus. Toilet seat with sliding spring and seat fixing mechanism (1) does not only perform opening and closing function but also has the property to move up and down at the points fixed at the toilet. Axles (3) which are inserted in axle housings (6) which are available at spring toilet cover fixation arms (7, 13) provide seat and cover to move up and down depending on springback inside sliding axle conduit (2) and so prevent contractions caused by springback motion and allow spring shoes (16) to fully contact with the toilet (17). Toilet seat with sliding spring and seat fixing mechanism (1) is fixed to adjustable toilet seat and cover fixation apparatus (11) by screw from bottom and adjustable fixation apparatus (1) is fixed at the toilet by a screw (5) from the upper section.

The system is composed of Toilet seat with sliding spring and seat fixing mechanism (1) with screw housing (4) allowing the seat and cover to be fixed at the toilet, sliding axle conduit (2) providing up and down motion of seat and cover during springback, spring toilet cover and seat axle (3) inserted in axle housings available over these arms which provide simultaneous motions of toilet seat and cover fixation arms, Screw housing (4), screw (5), axle housing providing fixation arms to be opened and closed (6), spring toilet cover fixation arm allowing the cover to be fixed (7), Fixation arm screw housing (8), Helix spring for fixation housing of sliding toilet seat and cover  (9) providing seat and cover to be springback from the points where they are fixed at the toilet,  Helix spring fixation housing (10) providing helix spring to stay at a specific point, Adjustable fixation apparatus for spring toilet seat and cover (11) which has screw housings (12) and which provides the sliding spring toilet seat and cover to be fixed at all toilets with different designs and models, Spring toilet seat fixation arm (13) providing seat to be fixed, Screw housing for fixation adjustable apparatus with elbow (18), Spring cover with sliding axle conduit that is fixed to itself  (19), Spring seat with sliding axle conduit that is fixed to itself  (20), Sliding axle conduit that is fixed to toilet cover (21) and Sliding axle conduit that is fixed to toilet seat (22), Adjustable spring toilet cover and seat fixation apparatus with elbow (23), Axle anchoring screw (25), Axle screw gear housing (26), Open ended toilet cover fixation arm with axle housing (27), Open ended toilet seat fixation arm with axle housing (28), Spring toilet seat and cover axle with screw housing (29) providing spring seat and cover wings to be fixed at the axle and Pivoting spring toilet seat and cover elbow (24) which is inserted in sliding axle conduit integrated in cover and seat.

While fixation arms (7,13) are fixed at cover (14) and seat (15) by screws (5), they are also used in an integrated manner with cover and seat (Figure 5), so fixation arms can function over seat and cover without requiring any screws. Besides it is also possible to fix open ended  toilet cover (27) and seat (28) with axle housing with fixation arms (27, 28) (Figure 2) to toilet by axle fixation screws.

Toilet seat with sliding spring and seat fixing mechanism can be used as integrated with toilet seat and cover (figure 6, 7, 8). Sliding axle conduits which are directly fixed at the seat and cover can be mounted over the adjustable fixation apparatus with elbow (23) and so contractions occur over cover and seat during springback can be recovered and seat and cover is provided to move up and down in order the spring shoes to be in fully contact with the toilet.

Toilet seat with sliding spring and seat fixing mechanism (1) provides not only up and down motion depending on spring toilet seat shoes (16) and spring motion but also provides the cover (14) and the seat (15) to be springback from the points where they are fixed at the toilet. Axles (3) carrying seat and cover transfers the weights applied over the seat to helix springs (9) located inside the sliding axle conduit (29 and so the seat is provided to be springback.
