There are machines for bread toasting in varying designs. In these designs, slices of breads are placed into a chamber from top side and afterward toasting is performed. However, there are also bread toasting machines similar to kitchen ovens into which slices of breads are put from the sides and the front of the machine. However, none of these designs has a mechanic, automatically opening-closing cover while putting slices of bread into the machine or taking them out.
Figure 1- The mechanics of bread toasting machine with a top cover All the parts indicated in the figures are assigned numbers as specified below: 1- Cover The bread toasting machine (figure 1 and 2) with upper cover operates based on the principle of automatic opening-closing of the cover (1) located at the top while placing or taking the slices of bread. Pressure arm (6) connected to toasting button (9) impels the elbow (4) while placing slices into the machine chamber (10) and the cover (1) is closed as a result of rotation of cover pin (2) coupled to hinge (5) or dent (12) in the form of hook by the lever (3). Following toasting of the slices after reaching a certain temperature degree, pressure arm (6) releases the lever (3) by moving up and, a spring (8) located between cover pin (2) and the cover (1) reopens the cover bringing it back to former position. Edge of the cover (1) has been circled by sealing band to confine better the heat inside the chamber. The bread toasting machine with an upper cover is a low cost model that is manufactured easily and developed to confine the heat inside the toasting chamber better. The cover (1) preventing loss of heat formed inside toasting machine from the top ensures that the slices of bread are toasted faster contributing to savings from consumption of power supply and time. The bread toasting machine with upper cover consists of cover (1),cover pin (2), lever (3), elbow (4), hinge (5), pressure arm (6), lever socket (7), spring (8), toasting button (9), toasting chamber (10), sealing band (11) and dent (12).
